Kinetic Sand Recipe

     For small topo boxes and making landforms

1 cup play sand

¼ tsp dish soap

1 Tbsp Elmer’s clear glue

½ tsp liquid starch

 

Mix everything together except the sand and it makes a slime-like solution. Then you add sand to it gradually and knead it in. It’s a lot cheaper than buying kinetic sand and if stored in an airtight container, it lasts for a while too. If it dries out, mix up another batch of the “slime” solution and mix the sand back into it and it’s like new.
